What will be new in law for 2022? We expect to see changes in the Wills, Estates and Succession Act that allow clients to sign documents digitally, and we recommend a review of your will so you keep control your last wishes. The new year will see BC employees receiving five paid sick days, minimum wage increases, legislation to cool the real estate market, and a ban on single use plastics. We will also see new programs and initiatives to help with the damage caused by severe weather and climate change. 2022 will be an interesting year in our industry, and we will keep you up to date with trends and news.
